i had a great time in boracay... it's my first time and i already miss the place. i thought that i'm not going to like it there as i'm not a beach person becoz i don't know how to swim and i hate being exposed to sun as i easily get tan & have a sensitive skin. but it wasn't the way i expected it to be...

we stayed in laguna de boracay village resort, in bulabog beach station1. it's affiliated with rci timeshare membership and we got one so we stayed there for 8 days. the resort has an adult & kiddie pool that's why the kids like it coz when they are done playing in the sand, they go to the pool... we're lucky we got a unit fronting the beach so it's windy & we usually eat in the veranda where you can feel the sea breeze & hear the sea waves and also got a nice view of the sea with boats passing-by & those who were windsurfing & kite sailing. besides, it is more private & peaceful than staying in station2 resorts where it is too crowded with people & restos... the resort is equipped with things like microwave oven, electric stove, rice cooker, toaster & kitchen utensils so we save a lot coz we just cook our food. mind you, food in bora restos is also expensive. and if you're staying there for a week with kids, butas talaga bulsa mo... :D

wish we could go back there next year as i feel so refreshed & i love the atmosphere... yay! we have to save again for another great summer escapade next year as already, me & hubby are planning to go to bohol or perhaps camiguin island with the kids. or if there's a bigger budget, to u.s or even just in hk disneyland... life is too short so make the most of it with your loved ones. kahit medyo kapos na sa budget, the joyful moments shared together will always be a treasure that no amount of money can compensate for it...
