I'm back...

after a 15-day vacation to boracay, cebu & bacolod, i'm back to a fast-paced life in manila... honestly, i'm bitin pa with the short break i have. life is so peaceful & relaxing in the province that when you're heading off to the airport, you feel that a part of you was left in those places you've been...

it's so good to see again your family, relatives, long-time friends, colleagues - the kwentuhan blues, the tsibugan... everytime i went home, i usually expect to gain weight but i don't mind at all. how could you not resist to eat with the cheap foods there. like in cebu, nice restos offer very reasonable price for their menus and in our place in escalante city, talaba is only 30p/sack, tangigue is at 150/k, hipon for only 250/k & alimasag for 120/k and still fresh. well, it's cheaper to have seafoods than meat as your food there unlike here, it's the other way around. that is why, i think people who live in provinces live longer than here in metro manila becoz they eat healthy foods... if only, we could just manage to have a vacation there twice yearly and if the plane fare won't be a problem, i'll be too happy just to think about it. it's like living in manila minus the air pollution, the stressful traffic situations & the high cost of living.
